Our Story

Catalog Vision is now Donnelley Marketing. We have been delivering outstanding data management, analysis, and processing results to the direct marketing industry for over 45 years. As marketing has become more sophisticated, multifaceted, and complicated, we have been ahead of the curve, providing marketers with the tools and understanding that help them navigate the increasing complexities of the multichannel marketplace.

Catalog Vision was founded in 1964 as Figi's Data Corporation, the internal data processing arm of Figi's Incorporated. In 1986, Figi's Data Corporation was spun off, as a separate entity called FDC, Inc. Donnelley Marketing, the leading compiler of consumer data, bought FDC in 1994, and five years later, we were part of Donnelley Marketing when it was acquired by infoUSA, who changed our name to Catalog Vision. Today, infoUSA remains our parent company. And we have now taken on the Donnelley Marketing name to let the industry know that we are carrying on the rich tradition of database, processing, and analytic services.

Today we are on the leading edge of Database Marketing, Address Hygiene, List Processing, and Analytics for marketers across all channels. We are the premier provider of data to the multichannel industry, offering the most comprehensive and robust consumer and business data files in the marketplace. A true pioneer and innovator in the industry, Catalog Vision now Donnelley Marketing, has also been delivering unparalleled customer-centric service. Our very first external catalog customer processed its first file with us in 1964 and has been a customer continuously since then.
